City Pop Music

Wanting to create an object on a lesser-known topic among the general public, I chose to make a journal dedicated to City Pop. My goal was to design a journal using only one typography, evoking the aesthetics of Japan through the placement and size of the typography, as well as the use of Japanese characters.

These elements refer to City Pop, a music style that emerged in the 80s in Japan. Additionally, the text in this journal is arranged in changing orientation, recalling the energy and originality of this musical period that I particularly cherish.
